ISLAMABAD: Hareem Shah, a popular TikTok star from Pakistan, has once again caused a stir by issuing warnings to prominent politicians and religious leaders in the country.
Known for her history of threatening to release private and intimate videos involving well-known individuals, Shah took to Twitter to declare that she would expose Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Mufti Abdul Qavi.
Previously, Shah had directed scathing comments towards politician Rana Sanaullah, a prominent figure in the PML-N party. This time, she courted controversy by calling out Mufti Qavi after he claimed that the nikkah (Islamic marriage contract) between former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his third wife, Bushra Bibi, was invalid.
In response, although Hareem herself had no involvement in Qavi's comments, the social media influencer tweeted that she would release a private video showing her slapping the religious cleric in a bedroom setting.
Turning her attention to Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party, Shah issued a warning, threatening to expose his alleged corrupt practices and illicit relationships.
She announced that she would reveal his true nature to the world on May 15 at 11 am, intending to expose him before the masses.
In the wake of these developments, Twitter users have responded with diverse and polarized reactions. Some have supported Shah for exposing individuals in positions of power who abuse their authority, while others have criticized her for tarnishing the reputation of religious figures for personal gain and temporary fame.
It is worth noting that Mufti Abdul Qavi has been embroiled in similar controversies in the past. He faced allegations from social media star Qandeel Baloch, who accused him of inappropriate behavior.
Qavi was also scrutinized for his alleged involvement in Baloch's murder, which garnered significant attention on the internet.
